Devotional Wednesday
One of God’s cherished gifts is His divine wisdom. When He saves a person, His holy knowledge emerges. Our Father doesn’t leave us guessing about His existence because He places us in Christ and anoints us with the Holy Spirit. It’s the Holy Trinity that separates us from the bondage of sin.
Yes, we can agree that God’s knowledge is more significant than anything the world offers. Indeed it goes beyond intellect. For His wisdom tells the truth about humanity’s final judgment.
Understanding Divine wisdom isn’t a one-time occurrence. No, I must, without reservations, give Him my undivided attention. This means I have to spend one-on-one time void of distractions daily.
Today’s scripture:
The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:
To know wisdom and instruction,
To perceive the words of understanding,
To receive the instruction of wisdom,
Justice, judgment, and equity;
To give prudence to the simple,
To the young man knowledge and discretion—
A wise man will hear and increase learning,
And a man of understanding will [b]attain wise counsel,
To understand a proverb and an enigma,
The words of the wise and their riddles.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 1:1-7, NKJV
