The interesting part of God is His consistent exposure to the world’s wickedness. Don’t be mistaken, rejecting Christ has eternal consequences. This sad reality of the world’s fate is unavoidable.
Here’s something we both can agree on is many people discount God’s truth. Their unwillingness to glorify Him places them on the road to infinite doom. Disbelief is an inexcusable violation of His commandments. Is this true? Yes, because the Bible highlights God’s harsh judgment against blasphemy (Matthew 12:31-32).
The World’s Powerlessness
I think you’ll agree with me when I say the world’s powerlessness over God’s wrath is inescapable. Remember, He flooded the earth killing everyone except Noah and his family (Genesis 7). And don’t forget His destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:12-29).
Those examples testify to His powerful judgment. This truth leads people into believing He is cruel or unloving. But it’s important to realize God makes Himself known to everyone (Romans 1:20-21). And the best part is He wants salvation for everybody (2 Peter 3:9). How awesome is that?
It saddens me witnessing the death and hatred the world displays. This year (2020) humanity continues experiencing problems created by evilness. Every nation isn’t immune to this sinful and devastating truth. It started with the Coronavirus pandemic, and now a relentless force of violence is a daily routine.
The Unpardonable Sin
Besides, the health crisis and violence persecution of Christians is on the rise. In fact, many states and cities in the USA use the Coronavirus pandemic to restrict Churches from gathering together in worship. They claim to allow people to congregate spreads the virus causing potential death from the illness. Yet, they don’t apply the same ordinances for protesting against police brutality.
As seen above, the world’s damnation is imminent. God is sending Christ again to eradicate the nation’s unpardonable sin (Mark 3:28-29). And trusting in Christ is the only way to avoid God’s fury.
Christ The Redemer
Yes, it’s in Jesus one finds salvation.
Why is that?
God made Christ His Savior (John 14: 6).
How do I know?
From my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
When God rescued me from spiritual darkness everything changed. First, my dependence on alcohol vanished. Then hatred, bitterness, and resentment toward others faded away. Another tremendous change is the way my self-reliance shifted to depending on Christ for everything.
In addition to those revelations, God showed His forgiveness, delivered me to Christ, and anointed the Holy Spirit into my heart. For this reason, I’m grateful for His grace and this gift of salvation.
Here’s the bottom line. The world’s sad reality is unchangeable, for God ruled against its evilness and condemned it to Hades. On the positive side, this dreadful truth gives people an opportunity to repent and turn to Christ. It’s sad to know most people won’t heed to His calling and end up in the unquenchable fire.
The excellent news is it spares anyone who abides in Christ without reservation from God’s wrath. Without Jesus, the Holy Spirit stays dormant and the entrance into God’s kingdom remains shut.
Given these points, it’s crucial for each of us to stay firm in Christ and share with others His gospel of redemption. Remember, with Jesus, our place in God’s kingdom is unshakable.
